Researchers have found that babies undergoing circumcision at any age experience a lot of pain during surgery and remember the agony of the procedure for years after that. Babies who do not have pain control during surgery can show more signs of pain and fearful reaction of any procedure in the future including routine vaccination.

Healing takes 7-10 days. Care after procedure includes applying vaseline on the front of the diaper to prevent dryness & sticking. Check frequently for any bleeding or infection. Inform the doctor with any complication. frequent diaper change is indicated to prevent irritation & infection.
Normal bathing with soap & water is recommended and can be started within 2 days
