How does light work on hair or skin The basic principle is based on the “selective heating of the target”. Light is absorbed selectively by melanin pigments in the hair shaft or other skin components. Heat is generated and transmitted to the target causing its damage without damaging surrounding tissue.
How does Radio Frequency energy work Radio Frequency (RF) is an electric current that heats the hair follicle but not the epidermis.
